Joint Legislative Committee on the Recompilation of the Constitution

The next meeting of the Joint Legislative Committee on the Recompilation of the Constitution is Tuesday, August 24th in Room 200 of the State House.  The purpose of this meeting is to receive public input on any of the topics that are to be addressed in the proposed changes, such as the removal of racist language or the identification of economic development provisions that need to be consolidated.

Any member of the public is welcome to attend (space permitting) and to speak their thoughts, ideas, or concerns to the Committee regarding the potential recompilation of the Constitution and the removal of racist language.
